What I'm working on, mixed with obvious lies. Always with the lying.

Apparently, the worker in the WorkChoices advertisements is an actor who has, in the past, failed to be a good boss. The ad, therefore, has to go.

I, for one, am right behind this kind of action. For too long have we been asked to accept two different concepts at the same time. Psychologists call this phenomenon "cognitive dissonance". You might recognise it by the layman's term: "bullshit". Are you aware, two people who read my blog sometimes, that in many cases of acting the person portraying a role is in no way the same as the role itself? Hard questions need to be asked. Are the rumours that Elijah Wood has a ring of power true? Is Bruce Willis, in fact, alive? And despite Tobey Maguire's love of horses being shown in Seabiscuit, is it not a fact that he once ate an entire horse, due to extreme peckishness?

It's an outrage. Nor do I feel we should stop at insisting that all filmed fiction become a documentary. I demand proof that Stevie Wonder blamed it on the sun, and that Michael Jackson refused to do so and opted for the boogie. We need to know: does anyone, really, like to move it, move it, or was that just a sham? It's time for more truth in reality, people.

byiooow baunnn (was that even close to the Family Feud sound-effect for a whammy)? That's the third one for WorkChoice but who's counting?

Answer from one of the two who reads your blog sometimes: Really! No I wasn't aware but now that you've mentioned it, DNA tests have proven that Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were really twins separated at birth and James Earl Jones was their father.

BTW, Why become a lawyer? Comedy is your calling.

I don't know if you've been keeping up with your case reading on Fed Con in Spain, but it turns out WorkChoices is just fine. All the Federal Govt needs to do to bring in the corporations power these days is say "We Invoke The Mighty Corporations Power" and they can do what they want. Up to and including invading the NT. That noise you hear is my teeth grinding into powder.

As for the comedy, I was assured the standard career path for an aspiring Aussie funnyman was to get the law degree first. Search your feelings, w-ko, you know it to be true.

I guess I must be the other of the two who read your blog. And, in answer to your question - yes, I am aware.

However, I find it curious that in addition to the fact that the person portraying the role is in no way the same as the role itself, the viewer is similtenously asked to understand that the woman serving as the Workplace Authority Director in the ad, is in reality the Workplace Authority Director.

What do psychologists call that?

Dear lord, that is cunning. Masking reality with reality? I believe psychologists have labelled that "a real head scratcher".

My my how times have changed. You mean S51(xx)! In my days at law school, the power to invoke was s51(xxix).

My comic genius does indeed stem from my humble beginnings as an articled clerk. Goodluck to you my young padwan.
