Second Verse, Probably Quite Similar To The First

This is kind of a work blog. I say "kind of" for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I don't actually have a job. Secondly, my application to the PhD program is languishing due to library access not being what it could be. Thirdly, my moderate obsession with languages is probably only vaguely linked to any kind of professional development. Fourthly, I'll probably end up posting blurry pictures of myself pouting into the camera and writing long, involved, deeply unnecessary outlines of my personal views which I will dignify with a kind of macho-nerd poise as "rants". Everybody does. Lastly, I don't have the slightest idea about the computer programming thing I should almost certainly get started on learning.
